Field Service Technician 100% travel - 4 states -id-15848

Full Job Description

Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our client's customer sites in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky. This position requires 100% travel (local & non-local) to customer sites in order to assist in the installation and commissioning of machinery. Will go through formal training program. Contract-to-perm opportunity.


Responsibilities:

  • Installation and machine maintenance, which includes diagnosis, repairs, certifications, and re-calibration of various machines at customer sites.
  • Perform service calls at customer sites to diagnose and correct problems involving company products
  • Ensures prompt preparation and completion of service and expense reporting related to assigned duties.
  • Assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Ability for 100% travel to client sites.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Mechanical maintenance or mechanic experience.
  • Computer ability.
  • CMM knowledge is very helpful as is servo knowledge
  • Some electrical/electronics would be helpful.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Candidates can live in Louisville, Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington, or Indianapolis
