Responsibilities

  • Author, revise, and manage technical manuals and maintenance program task cards for United aircraft.
  • Collaborate with Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering, and other Tech Ops groups for documentation updates.
  • Conduct peer reviews and routine audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Provide administrative support and access to internal/external customers.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Associate’s degree or 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Technical Writing, Communications, Aviation Management, or Engineering
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of aviation, military, or equivalent industry experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Airframe and Powerplant License
  • Familiarity with S1000D, Spec2000, Boeing Toolbox, FoxPro, MS SQL Server, Adobe Acrobat

  • Associate’s degree in a related field (Technical Writing, Aviation Management, etc.)
