Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join our innovative and rapidly expanding marketing agency. This remote role, initially part-time, offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our leadership team, influencing the financial trajectory of a multi-million dollar business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our fractional CFO to develop comprehensive annual budgeting processes and propose financial budgets across the organization.
  • Create and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews, ensuring clear communication of company objectives and performance metrics.
  • Prepare financial forecasts while analyzing key trends in sales, finance, and business operations to enhance overall performance.
  • Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses of operations, adapting strategies to meet business goals.
  • Identify and evaluate revenue and expenditure trends, working alongside the Controller, bookkeeper, and CFO to provide actionable insights.
  • Review financial statements, pinpointing budget variances and offering explanatory solutions for discrepancies.
  • Develop a robust set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other critical financial metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to assess the monthly accounting close process, applying trend analysis to enhance accuracy.
  • Perform return on investment (ROI) analyses for client initiatives.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
