Remote Field Service Rep needed for a growing organization primarily focused on heavy industrial hydraulic products for a variety of industries, this role specifically focused on troubleshooting customer issues with attention to communication both internally and with customers. This role involves 50%+ travel (domestic & international) and is looking for a candidate comfortable with minimal management.

responsibilities:

- Provide onsite and phone support for machinery & products.

- Complete all administrative paperwork in a timely manner (expense reports, timesheets service and project/product issue findings, and customer experience reports).

- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Production, to report field issues and/or customer feedback.

- Assists in training customers on Columbia Industries equipment.

- Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and coworkers, and the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.

- Follows all appropriate process documentation procedures.

- Maintains safe working conditions while on the customer's site and identifies potential hazards.

- Able to oversee field jobs that are not often the same issue or solution to resolve it.

- Able to produce a written travel expense plan and scope of work to resolve a customer issue.

- Work at a customer site.

- Able and willing to support the Mississippi plant when not in the field or traveling.
