Position Overview:

  • Role: Nurse Practitioner for Virtual Patient Care
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Schedule: Available 10 hours a week, scheduling is flexible
  • Compensation: 1099 contract opportunity at $60/hour

Some Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct initial intake evaluation video visits with new patients (ages 18+).
  • Holistically evaluate patients, review labs, and prescribe weight loss medications when appropriate, primarily GLP-1 agonists.
  • Work with a diverse patient population, emphasizing inclusivity and evidence-based care.
  • Regularly check and respond to patient inquiries via the patient portal and asynchronous chat.
  • Manage prescription refills and chronic condition management.

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in at least 4 of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NY, OH, PA, TX with residency in the licensed state
  • Board Certified (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) by the ANCC or AANP
  • 2 years of independent practice experience as an NP preferred
    • 1-year experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP1 agonists preferred.
    • Must be comfortable prescribing compound medication
    • Background in Internal or Family Medicine preferred
    • Comfortable with complex chronic condition management preference
  • Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred
