Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor other designers with your Unreal Engine expertise, helping them elevate their technical skills.
- Promote best practices to enhance the technical rigor of the design team.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and processes.
- Tackle design challenges head-on, delivering practical and innovative solutions.
- Build robust and maintainable content and features in Unreal Engine/Blueprint.
- Write detailed design specifications, collaborate with stakeholders, and make data-driven adjustments.
What You Bring:
- Deep expertise in Unreal Engine, particularly in Blueprint, UMG, Animation Blueprint, and gameplay systems.
- A strong foundation in 3D math fundamentals.
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
- 2+ years in a technical design role with a proven track record.
- Experience shipping at least one title using Unreal Engine.
- A background in multiplayer game development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for designing, building, and delivering exceptional video games.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Python, C#, and/or Lua.
- Artistic skills, including the ability to model, rig, and animate simple placeholder assets for early gameplay prototyping.
