Job Overview

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for children with diabetes mellitus and their families. Use available resources to evaluate outcomes and demonstrate clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Meet the educational needs of patients/families with diabetes mellitus using teaching and learning principles.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans promoting optimal patient outcomes in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in clinical research in the field of diabetes mellitus.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree (current employees hired before September 1, 2013 are grandfathered) or Bachelor's Degree (preferred for direct care nurses hired after September 1, 2013).
  • Experience in nursing and diabetes care preferred.
  • Licensed RN - MO or Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire.
  • NCBDE Certification preferred.

Starting Pay

Market-competitive pay ranges begin at $31.42/hr, determined by education and experience.
