Job Summary

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, feeding and nourishment, bathroom and incontinence, and routine foot care as outlined in the care plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with transfers and ambulation if applicable.
  • Responds to call lights and the needs of the resident.
  • Accurately uses different types of scales.
  • Applies restorative devices such as splints, handrolls, braces, eyeglasses, and hearing aids.
  • Change bed linens on occupied and unoccupied beds.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification Program is mandatory.
  • Short-term rehab and skilled nursing experience is a plus.
