Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Billing and Coding Specialist Lead Instructor to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! Morning and evening schedules are available.

Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
  • Assist in student learning outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
  • Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor
  • Grade class assignments and exams.

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in a directly related field.
  • 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
  • License/certification associated with Medical Billing and Coding (CPC, CCS, or CMC)
  • Must adhere to weekly class schedule
  • Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
  • Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards
  • Comfortable with computers and technology.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Resident of California.
